Im 23 years old. I just left this place 2 days ago, and I’m not going to say it was “horrible”but what I am going to say is I think they should be having is they should be having all medications there on hand. Not stating they would be sending me to another “facility” because they do not have the medical treatments to “treat” me. First of all coming from a different area, I asked her “will I be returning”? The lady said “I don’t see why not.” What response is this in my head I thought. She did not give any accurate answer so how am I supposed to really know what they want to do with me. Many different hospitals and rehabs do this etc. where they send the patients to different places and treating them they are like a (dog,pet) etc. I am not anybody’s toy. On top of that I have been clean from substances etc. so I was just voluntarily joining this program, but...
Virtue is an amazing place for recovery. I did a 30 day and it was the best thing for me. I recommend this for people who are wanting to change their lives. Staff is amazing and show you great support!.
Virtue has a great vibe and genuinely caring staff. I went through detox and spent another 28 days there. They present a very practical curriculum that is so helpful in digging into the roots of our addiction. I found it comforting that there are Christians there and we are allowed to speak freely about our faith. Step meetings are readily available.
One of the highlights is Chef Dan and his crew. Not only did I not have to cook, the food is delicious! I always looked forward to the next meal. Some of my favorites are waffles, Mongolian beef, and all of the salads which are many and varied. Chef does his best to accommodate special requests and separate meals are prepared for those with allergies. Now I am headed home and have to cook. I certainly enjoyed the vacation!
All in all it Virtue is a great residential rehab facility that provided a well rounded experience.
