My son was at Evoke in Hilliard, Ohio. Medical care was ok but don't put money into the personal account there because it disappears. No one has a record of it. The patient doesn't get the money. After discharge they will bill incorrectly to your insurance company and then harass you to pay the same bill over and over and over and change what they tell you it is for. After 16 months, they still haven't given me the final bill. They say it's the FINAL bill, with each payment, but then a month later, here comes the same bill again. They change the story on what the charges are for. They claimed not to get a certified check that I sent and when I proved by the bank that they cashed it, they changed the story and said the exact same amount was due for one day. They are saying the same amount is for one day that I had supposedly paid with the cashiers check for 3...
I don't know why so many people are saying such horrible things about this place. These guys saved my life and I am for ever grateful to them, yea I'm sure they can improve on a thing or two, But I mean come on people they are saving lifes everyday. When I first got there I was hating life ready to die just to end the insanity of addiction and felt that they was horrible when I first got there because that's what the Deval wanted me to believe. Then the more I was there I started seeing more things that was out Weighing any type of bad and changing my thoughts on the this place one of them things being I was only spose to be there 7 days and then go somewhere else by that 7th day I was practically begging them to let me finish the 30 days out there instead of going anywhere else because they made me feel like I was someone for once in my life, they didn't have to let...
Called around looking for Mental Health Treatment programs and got recommended to Evoke. I came online seen their reviews and was kinda turned off but something in me told me go and give it a try. And I am thankful that I did. The staff here were supportive and comforting in a situation that is scary because you don’t know the outcome. I am very grateful that I chose Evoke to help me get stabilized. Just like everyone else below says the food is AMAZING! The staff including Shaniquwa, Nurse David and Brandi, Therapist Jess, Henna and Deb, last but not least the supporting staff Devale, Ray, Hailey, Zar, Divina, Jordan and so many more. Made this stay away from my kids to work on me amazing. I came back home refreshed and even help from Logan, got set up and prepared for my next steps at home. During my time at Evoke Wellness at Hilliard I was cared for and supported like I had never been. All of the staff from the cooks to the counselors cared about how we were. Two nurses in particular, David and Anthony, really showed their concern for me and would do anything they could to help me. My time there saved my life. I was in a dark place when I went there the first time, and when I left after my second stay I really felt like I had the tools to live life and live it well.
The food is very good I can't bullshit about that. Detox rooms have 3 to 4 ppl in them with 2 tvs running. So it's cramped, loud and uncomfortable. Also in detox you won't see or hear from any coucelor until the day bf you leave. If you stay for Rez lol we'll just don't for one. You'll see why if you go there for detox. It is so very small and there is just nothing to do. The guys and girls are always together so just use your imagination for how that usually turns out. There are a lot of places in Ohio to go, if you want to eat an do a lil hanky panky with some rando this place is for you. So I guess maybe there are things to do there now that I write it out, just not all of them benefits your life or being sober lol as long as your wife doesn't meet your gf you made in detox you'll be fine?
